Center Stage was recognized in 2016 and 2017 by Best Things Colorado as one of the top ten places in Colorado to see live theatre!  This Jefferson County Historic Landmark, designated October 2021, dates back to 1924 and serves the mountain community as a performing arts venue, visual art gallery, and community gathering place. It is owned and operated by Ovation West Performing Arts.

Ovation West presents two full-scale musical theatre productions at Center Stage, as well as our Shining Stars concert series, Summer Music Camp and special events. In addition, several local organizations call Center Stage their performance home, including the Evergreen Players, Evergreen Children’s Chorale, and Mountain Youth Musicals. The lobby doubles as the Rotary Gallery, a visual arts space in which local artists may display their work. Exhibits are coordinated through a partnership with Center for the Arts Evergreen.

We also invite local organizations to hold meetings and events at Center Stage, including the Wild Aware, Evergreen Rotary, Evergreen Newcomers & Neighbors, Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, Evergreen Christian Outreach, and many more.
