We offer multiple opportunities for high school students to learn through participation in our performance groups. We invite high school singers to join the Evergreen Chorale, and also to audition for our musical theatre productions when there are age-appropriate roles available.
High school interns participate fully in the rehearsal process as the choir prepares for a concert. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00pm in Evergreen. We underwrite the cost of dues for our high school interns. This is a wonderful opportunity for young voices to be part of a high-quality, multi-generational choir and to perform choral masterworks. Many of our high school interns have gone on to study voice, opera, musical theatre and music education at institutions such as the Peabody School of Music, Julliard School, New York University, Oklahoma City University, University of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado, University of Chicago and others.
