We are thrilled to announce Ovation West Performing Arts (OWPA) and Mountain Youth Musical’s (MYM) Summer Musical Theatre Camp for 2025, returning to Center Stage, June 9-20. Offering tailored programming for kindergartners through high school, students will learn triple threat skills, acting, singing and dancing.
Kindergarteners - 2nd graders will prepare a full mini-musical directed by theater professionals each week. Middle School kids will prepare and perform the entire musical this year during their two week session! Our Theatre Tech workshops will have participants learning and working on all that makes the shows come alive behind the scene!

This year’s line up:
K - 2nd grade
Swamped - a mini musical about friendship, tolerance, and courage. Kids registered for this week of camp will get to be frogs, dragonflies, turtles and other fun swamp creatures. (June 9-13)
Barnyard Moosical - a hilarious and imaginative mini-musical where kids play animals in an unusual farm. (June 16-20)
3rd - 5th grade
Pirates the Musical - a rollicking musical includes fabulously fun character roles like Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, Purplebeard, No Beards, King of high Cs… (June 9-13)
Give Me The Sky, The Amelia Earhart Story - a musical that brings to life the incredible journey of Amelia Earhart, a real-life hero who defied the odds. (June 16-20)
6th-8th grade
Beetlejuice Jr. the Musical - an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical that brings the irreverent humor and heartwarming story of Tim Burton's iconic film to life. (June 9-20)
8th-12th grade
Tech Theatre - learn from professionals on all things behind the scenes (Costuming, lighting, set design and build etc.) We will have a full time instructor as well as experts in the field work with the kids to build life long skills related to theater tech. (June 9-25)
All 3rd - 8th graders will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of daily theatre performances and workshops, enabling them to enhance their skills level toward becoming a triple threat as well as understanding the inner workings of musical theatre.
Most importantly, children will come away feeling inspired, empowered, and more confident than ever!
High School-age participants register separately for the Apex program production of "Something Rotten”
at My Mountain Musicals.
This year, pre-and-post camp care is available for K - 5th grade participants, allowing for a full day option. Led by an adult theatre professional, the focus of the pre and post camp time will include singing, lunch, active theater related games, and play.
