Ovation West announces AUDITIONS for a diverse cast of ADULT and YOUNG ACTORS for Annie Get Your Gun (The 1999 Revival version).

Requirements:
Adults (17yrs old and older):
Please prepare a ballad or up-tempo from the Traditional Musical Theater era (1920s – 1950s). Please also bring a contrasting piece (i.e. if you chose a ballad for your first piece, your second piece should be an up-tempo from the same era) in case we want to hear a second piece. Please have sheet music for the provided pianist for both songs. Both songs should be under 3 minutes. We are not requesting a monologue, but definitely want to see your acting through your songs.
Children (6-16)
Please prepare one musical theater song to sing from any style. Please bring sheet music of that song in the appropriate key for the pianist to accompany the auditioner.

Male presenting, Baritone (range B2-F4) – 40s-70s – worldly-wise master of ceremonies

Alto (range B3-B4) – 40s-60s – mature performer who is slightly threatened by new talent

Baritone (range Bb2-D4) – 18-30s – strong performer and dancer with charm

Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Center Stage Theater
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 - Times TBD
Rehearsal and Show Information:
Rehearsals will take place mainly in the Denver Metro area and in Evergreen from July 21 – August 26th on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings 7:00 – 10:00 pm and Saturday mornings (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) and afternoons (1:00 pm-4:00 pm). Tech week will take place August 27th – September 4th with calls from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm on weeknights and
Saturday, August 30th (9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a lunch break)
Show run is September 5 – 28, 2025. with shows on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday matinees.
