Ovation West Theatre
Ovation West Performing Art’s musical theatre arm produces award-winning, fully-staged musicals at Center Stage. Recent productions include I Love You, You’re Perfect (2023), Godspell (2022), Fiddler On The Roof (2021), Nunsense (2019), Funny Girl (2018), Company, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2017), which was honored with five Broadway World Denver awards for Best Dramatic Musical, Best Music Director, Best Director, Best Costume Design and Best Set Design.
The Evergreen Chorale
From its first concert in June 1972 – Brahms/Creston/Hindemith plus showtunes – the Evergreen Chorale’s storied performance history includes the likes of Bach’s German Requiem (1973), Kodály Missa Brevis with the Colorado Philharmonic Orchestra (1977), Beethoven Ninth Symphony with the Colorado Philharmonic Orchestra (1979) and Mozart’s Requiem with the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra (1987). Under Christine Gaudreau, the Chorale’s principal music director since 2011, concert highlights include Beethoven Symphony #9 with Jefferson Symphony Orchestra (2011), Handel Messiah with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, Brahms Requiem with the Jefferson Symphony (2015), Mozart Requiem with Evergreen Chamber Orchestra (2018), “Singing Peace” a collaboration with the Colorado Ballet and the Thomas Dance Project (2019), Handel Messiah with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra (2021), and Very Vivaldi, with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra (2023).
