WIZARD OF OZ AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE
We have had a fantastic turn-out for auditions for WIZARD OF OZ! All of our in-person audition slots are currently full – but we are still happily accepting video submissions for those who would like to be considered.
Please upload a video audition of yourself singing your song(s) to a streamable service (Youtube, Vimeo, etc) and send the link, along with a headshot and resume to graham@ovationwest.org with the subject title: “Wizard Of Oz Video Audition Submission.” Please do not attach full video files to emails. Adults, please combine both of your songs into a single video before uploading. Filming on your phone is just fine :) Piano accompaniment/karaoke tracks can often be found on youtube, etc, and you are more than welcome to use them as backing tracks when recording your audition.
Audition instructions are below.
Adults (17 yrs old and older): Please sing both a ballad and up-tempo from the Traditional Musical Theater era (1920s – 1950s).  (i.e. if you chose a ballad for your first piece, your second piece should be an up-tempo from the same era) Both songs should be under 3 minutes. We are not requesting a monologue, but definitely want to see your acting through your songs.
